29: Decide Whether the Last Trick Has an Extra Point
The cards in 29 total twenty-eight points. Some versions add one for the last trick; others do not. A final total of twenty-eight is therefore not automatically evidence of a missing card.

Choose the scoring version before the deal. If the extra point is active, a close contract may depend on the final trick even when its cards are unscored. Keep that extra point distinct from the values of the four cards collected there.
