3-2-5: Count the Two Sevens Before You Deal
The stated thirty-card pack removes ranks two through six and keeps only the heart and spade sevens. Each player receives ten cards, creating ten tricks.

The stated thirty-card pack removes ranks two through six and keeps only the heart and spade sevens. Each player receives ten cards, creating ten tricks.
A missing or extra seven changes the arithmetic and the suit lengths. Count the pack before the first hand rather than improvising an uneven deal. In the basic version here, the retained sevens are ordinary low cards; permanent high-trump sevens belong to a separate variant and should not be introduced halfway through play.
