7-8: The Heart Seven Is the Highest Trump
In the selected Saat-Aath rules, 7♥ and 7♠ are the top two trumps regardless of the named suit. If diamonds are chosen, 7♥ still beats A♦.

Place those sevens with the trump cards when arranging your available hand. Judging them by their printed suits makes both ranking and following-suit decisions wrong. Remember which has already been used: after 7♥ disappears, 7♠ becomes the highest remaining trump unless it too has gone.
