A Round Bonus and a Hand Score Need Separate Lines

A bonus can reward a condition outside the ordinary hand calculation. Keeping it separate makes the final total easier to check.

In a non-cash exercise, a completed hand earns eight points and a stated round bonus adds three. The total is eleven. If the record already shows eleven as the final total, adding the bonus again produces fourteen and counts the same reward twice.

Label the figures as hand score, bonus and final total. Those labels explain which values may be added together. A larger number is not automatically another earning event; it may already include the smaller entries shown beside it.
