Bonu7 Game: The Extra Practice Point Had Two Conditions

Check both conditions before adding a practice bonus. A card-learning score sheet separates the normal point from the extra point.

For their card-learning session, the friends agree on one point for a correctly explained answer. One extra point is available only when the explanation is correct and completed without a hint. Aarav finishes quickly, then notices that his score is lower than he expected.

Speed was not a condition

The host asks him to read the written scoring rule. It mentions correctness and independent completion, not finishing first. Aarav used a hint and then explained the cards correctly. He earns the normal point, but not the extra one. His useful explanation is still recognised.

A second learner answers without a hint but gives an incorrect reason. Independent completion alone does not meet both conditions. The group writes two separate checkboxes before the extra-point column. This prevents one noticeable achievement from standing in for the whole requirement.

Keep the addition visible

For a correct independent answer, the row shows one normal point plus one extra point, giving two. The extra point is added once, not once for each checkbox. Two conditions control one addition; they do not create two separate additions.

Aarav’s next goal is to explain a similar hand without help. The score sheet now tells him what to practise rather than simply displaying a disappointing total. If the group wants a timed challenge later, it can announce a new scoring arrangement before that activity starts. It need not reinterpret today’s rule.
