Court Piece: A Queen Can Become the Highest Card Left
Q♦ is initially below A♦ and K♦. Once both higher diamonds have been played, the queen is the highest remaining diamond, although an opposing trump can still beat it.

Track the removal of higher cards instead of judging strength only by the printed rank. Before leading the established queen, consider known diamond shortages. A promoted card is strong within its suit; it is not automatically safe against every remaining hand.
