Court Piece: The Caller Does Not Have to Lead Trump
After choosing trump and receiving all thirteen cards, the caller leads the first trick. The rules allow any card, not only the chosen suit.

An opening lead should fit the completed hand. Sometimes testing a strong side suit is more useful than immediately spending trump; sometimes removing opposing trump is the priority. Naming a suit during the deal creates its special ranking, not an obligation to announce it again through the first card played.
