Cribbage: Four Matching Suits Must Be in the Hand
A normal hand flush needs all four held cards to share a suit. Three held cards plus the starter do not replace that condition.

A normal hand flush needs all four held cards to share a suit. Three held cards plus the starter do not replace that condition.
The hand contains three clubs and one diamond; the starter is a club. Four clubs are visible altogether, but the hand itself is not a four-card flush.
Keep the starter outside the initial hand-suit test. It can extend an already qualifying hand flush, not repair a hand that failed the four-held-card requirement.
