Dehla Pakad: The Same Player Must Win Twice
Two consecutive tricks won by different partners do not collect the centre pile. The same individual must win both, under the capture rule used here.

If your partner won the previous trick and is winning this one, overtaking can interrupt the collection instead of helping. Compare the individual winner as well as the team. A high card is useful only in the right sequence; shifting the lead within the partnership can postpone securing every ten waiting in the centre.
