Dehla Pakad: Winning a Trick Does Not Yet Own Its Cards
A single won trick stays in the centre until a qualifying collection. The player leads next, but the partnership has not necessarily secured the cards.

When counting tens, separate the team's captured pile from the unclaimed centre. A ten under the table's central stack is still contested even if your partner originally won its trick. This distinction changes how urgently the next consecutive win matters and prevents recording points that may later go to the opposition.
