When everyone follows the led suit, the completed trick goes to waste rather than returning to a player's hand. This gives a different outcome from a trick interrupted by a void.

Use remembered suit information when choosing a lead. A suit with no known shortages may offer a cleaner shedding opportunity, although hidden hands prevent certainty. Update the assessment as cards disappear: a suit that was safe two turns ago may now expose you to a pickup.
