Indian Rummy: Give the Ace One End of the Run
An ace can finish J♦–Q♦–K♦–A♦ or begin A♦–2♦–3♦ in this Indian Rummy version. It cannot connect K♦ directly to 2♦ through a circular run.

If your loose cards are K♦, A♦ and 2♦, treat them as competing possibilities, not a completed sequence. The next useful draw decides which end develops. Keeping the ace flexible is sensible; counting an illegal wraparound as finished is not. Recheck the remaining loose card after choosing one direction.
