Indian Rummy: One Eight Cannot Finish Two Groups
The cards 6♣, 7♣, 8♣, 8♦ and 8♥ offer two useful patterns. They do not provide two finished melds: both patterns need the same physical 8♣.

Lay the proposed groups in separate rows. If a card must move between rows to make both valid, the hand needs another connection. Drawing 5♣ would allow a club run alongside the three eights. Look for cards that release a shared card rather than counting the shared card twice.
