Mendikot: Random Trump Changes How You Read the Deal
In the random-trump method, a card is displayed to choose the suit, returned to the pack, and the deal follows. The display does not award that card to the player who revealed it.

After receiving your hand, assess the actual trump holding rather than assuming the selector has an advantage in that suit. The method removes the choice of trump from hand evaluation. Your useful decisions begin with the distribution you were dealt, not ownership inferred from the selection procedure.
