Oklahoma Gin: The Opening Card Sets the Knock Limit
Oklahoma Gin can use the original up-card's value as the knock limit. That value is fixed by the opening card, not the latest discard.

Oklahoma Gin can use the original up-card's value as the knock limit. That value is fixed by the opening card, not the latest discard.
The original up-card is a six, so a deadwood total of seven is too high under this rule. A later king on the discard pile does not raise the limit to ten.
Keep the opening reference visible in the record. Using the changing top discard would replace a fixed limit with a rule this variation does not specify.
