Reversing Direction Does Not Rewind a Finished Turn

Direction specifies who follows whom. It does not normally erase an action already completed. For this exercise, a reversal takes effect after the current player finishes the turn.

Direction specifies who follows whom. It does not normally erase an action already completed. For this exercise, a reversal takes effect after the current player finishes the turn.

The clockwise order is A, B, C, D. B completes a reversing play. The new direction makes A the next player, followed by D. A is acting again because the direction changed, not because A's previous turn has been undone.

Mark the current player and the moment the reversal takes effect before calculating the next turn. Applying the change before B finishes would mix two different timing rules and could incorrectly give someone an extra action.
