In the 100-card-point Seep version, kings have capture value thirteen, but only the spade king scores thirteen card points. K♥ can make a useful capture without itself contributing thirteen to the final score.
Keep two questions apart: what can this card collect, and what will the collected cards score? A high capture value may reach an important house, while the scoring reward comes from particular cards inside it. Counting every king as thirteen exaggerates the result.
