Spades: Bags Beyond Ten Are Not Erased
After a ten-bag deduction, excess bags remain for the next cycle. The deduction is not a reset that discards every bag collected.
After a ten-bag deduction, excess bags remain for the next cycle. The deduction is not a reset that discards every bag collected.
Start with eight bags and add four more. Twelve have accumulated. Apply one hundred points of deduction and carry two bags forward. Setting the counter to zero would lose those two excess bags.
Treat the bag counter as groups of ten plus a remainder. That keeps a later hand from receiving an undeserved clean slate.
