Spades: The Dealer Does Not Automatically Open Play
In basic four-player Spades, the player to the dealer's left makes the opening lead. Dealing and leading are different responsibilities.

South deals, so West opens. If North later wins that trick, North leads next. The dealer's position explains the first lead but does not continue controlling every later lead.
Write the first leader once, then follow actual trick winners. Reusing the dealer-based rule after each trick would repeatedly restart the turn order incorrectly.
