Spades: The Tenth Bag Carries a Separate Deduction
The ten-bag rule deducts one hundred points when accumulated overtricks reach ten. The current hand's ordinary points still need calculating.

The ten-bag rule deducts one hundred points when accumulated overtricks reach ten. The current hand's ordinary points still need calculating.
A team carries nine bags, bids three and takes four. The hand gives thirty-one ordinary points and one new bag. Reaching ten triggers the one-hundred-point deduction, so the net change is minus sixty-nine.
Keep the hand score and accumulated-bag adjustment on separate lines. Otherwise a successful bid may look inexplicably like a negative result.
