At the review table, Farhan says Bela never had hearts. The Yono Arcade replay shows Bela using a spade when hearts were led, but it does not show the beginning of the deal. Farhan has stretched one observation across too much time.
The legal-play assumption
Their stated rule requires following the led suit when possible. Only when a player lacks that suit may a spade be played on a heart lead. Assume the recorded play is legal; without that assumption, a rule violation would also need consideration.

The trick begins with Asha's 8♥. Bela plays 3♠, Charu 10♥ and Dev K♥. The spade wins under their trump rule. Bela's legal play tells the group she held no hearts when she made that play.
It does not tell them she began the deal without hearts. She might have followed hearts on earlier tricks and exhausted that suit. Those earlier plays are absent from this small record.
Put a time boundary on the claim
Farhan changes his note from “Bela had no hearts” to “Bela had no hearts remaining at this turn, assuming legal play”. The added words state both the time boundary and the condition behind the inference.
Nor does the spade reveal how many other spades Bela still holds. One observed trump proves that this particular card was played. It does not expose every card left behind her hand.

Asha places a blank card-shaped slip beside Bela's name for each unknown remaining card. The blank spaces resist the temptation to complete the picture with a convenient imagined distribution.
What an earlier record adds
For a follow-up, supply an earlier recorded trick in which Bela played 2♥. Now the group can establish that she once had a heart and later had none remaining. The new record adds information; it does not contradict the narrower original inference.
When sharing a replay, include the turn number and any earlier cards relevant to the claim. “At this point” is often the most valuable phrase in an explanation of a changing hand.
The Yono Arcade note ends with a precise observation rather than a complete invented history. A legal discard can reveal something useful. Good analysis preserves exactly what it reveals without treating the rest of the hand as visible.
