Zono Club: Your Left Was My Right
Opposite seats give players different left and right directions. Fixed grid labels let both teammates describe the same destination.

Two teammates sit opposite each other and try to describe a covered grid. “Move left” sends the marker in opposite directions from their seats.
The grid has three columns and three rows. They label columns A, B, C and rows 1, 2, 3 from a marked corner.

Let the board own its labels
The labels belong to the board, not to the person looking at it. A1 remains the same square when another player changes seats.
Instead of “your left”, the caller says “from B2 to A2”. The instruction now identifies both the starting square and the destination.
They practise with the board uncovered first. A coordinate system is useful only after both people agree how to read it.
Next, the caller hides a small target under C3 and gives a route through B1 and B3. The teammate traces each named square.

Confirm the starting square
A mistaken starting square still causes trouble, so every new route begins by confirming the marker's current position.
For a WhatsApp version, include the row and column labels in the photo. Cropping them away removes the reference that makes the directions portable.
Once the pair succeeds, swap caller and mover. Explaining and following directions expose different gaps in understanding.
Their final route can be followed from either seat. The improvement comes from a shared reference, not from either person becoming better at guessing “left”.
