OKMM: May, Must and Must Not Are Different Rules
Preserve permission and obligation when translating card instructions into Hindi. Check the action a reader would take, not just matching vocabulary.

An English practice instruction says, “You may rearrange your cards before explaining.” Its Hindi version says the learner must rearrange them. The card words are correct, yet the task has changed: an optional action has become compulsory.

Translate the permission
“आप समझाने से पहले अपने पत्ते फिर से लगा सकते हैं” keeps the action optional. If the current layout already makes the explanation clear, the learner may leave it alone. A faithful translation preserves that choice instead of introducing work the original instruction did not require.
Compare an obligation
“You must show every card” requires a different Hindi instruction: “आपको हर पत्ता दिखाना होगा।” A prohibition, such as “Do not change the recorded answer”, also needs its own clear wording. Permission, obligation and prohibition should not all become a vague suggestion to be careful.

Ask a reader to act on it
Give one learner the English instruction and another the Hindi version. Ask what each thinks is allowed and required. This small check can expose a changed rule even when every game term appears to have been translated correctly.
For a bilingual guide, keep the necessary conditions beside the relevant action. Natural Hindi may use a different sentence order, but it should lead to the same permitted behaviour. The aim is a usable explanation in each language, not a word-for-word copy that changes what a player is expected to do.
