An update message carries two questions: what does it say, and where did it come from? A private-chat attachment, a web pop-up and a notice inside an identified app provide different evidence about the sender. Keep the source attached to the message before calling it official.

Three locations are not equivalent

An in-app notice, a web pop-up and a private-chat attachment have different origins. A file called “update” in a private message does not establish a connection to the original publisher. Even an apparent in-app notice needs an accurately identified app context before broader claims are made.

Describe the source in Hinglish

“Private chat mein update naam ka attachment mila” reports an attachment. “Official update aa gaya” adds a claim of authority. The first may be supported by the message; the second needs more evidence.

Preserve the date and complete non-sensitive wording. A request for a verification code does not become justified because the sender calls it an update fix.

An attachment name does not identify its sender

“Update file aayi hai” describes an attachment arriving. To write “publisher ne bheji hai”, the sender's relationship to the publisher must also be supported. Keep these as separate statements. A file name can be copied by anyone, so it should not carry the whole burden of proving where an update message originated.
